This image is part of a series of images i did in 2001 forDavid Chipperfield Architects. It shows the 1st version of the planned new main entrance building for the historical museum island (Museumsinsel) in Berlin, Germany.

The 3D model, the renderings and the actual planning process did pass many different iterations before resulting in this final design. There was a very tight cooperation with the architects to achieve exactly the translucent glass look they had in mind.

This image was published in many architectural magazines, including 'El croquis' and 'AD Architectural Digest'. As of today, the project is still unbuilt and waiting for it's construction.
